How apps use databases?
A database is a place where your app saves information.
Imagine you just downloaded a new app, created a profile, and then put your phone down for dinner. When you open the app again, imagine the app asks you to create a profile all over again because it forgot the information you just saved. That would be dumb!
We don't want you to build a dumb app... which is why you need a database.
Apps need places to save information. The database is the place where apps do that.
